# The Story of Maryam The story of Maryam who reluctantly accepts the reality of being forced into a polygamous marriage by her husband Iskandar at the request of her father-in-law Haji Ismail. Her mother-in-law, Hajah Siah, disagrees but is forced to accept her husband's request on the grounds that they have been married for 10 years but have no grandchildren.
